In just their second year of varsity competition, the Blue Valley Rams were honored with their first ever All-State Baseball Team selection - Landon Schreiber. Schreiber was selected by the Kansas class 1-2A baseball coaches to the second team as a utility player.

Coach Herb Loveless attended the class 1-2A All State selection meeting on May 20th in McPherson to nominated Landon for his accomplishments on and off the field. Schreiber was the leading hitter for the Rams, as well as the team's field general. He led the team in all offensive categories as well as fielded his shortstop position very well. On the season Landon had 88 plate appearances and finished with a .375 average, .477 OBP, .556 SLG, 27 hits, 22 runs, and 28 RBIs. At shortstop, Landon posted 69 putouts and a .733 fielding percentage.
Landon has been with the Rams baseball program since it was establish in 2021, pitching the first victory in program history as a sophomore. Schreiber was also the Rams leading hitter last year. In his two years of varsity baseball Schreiber hit .383 with 47 RBIs on 46 hits. In this season's regional victory over Onaga Landon went 4 for 4 at the plate and hit a two- run homerun in the top of the 7th inning to put the Rams in the lead and secure the victory.
Landon will be attending KSU in the fall and attempt to become a walk-on for the baseball team.
