Hello RAMFAM! Here is the tentative 2022-2023 school calendar for you to start planning. Please BE AWARE that the calendar is TENTATIVELY APPROVED, pending teacher negotiation in April. Once the negotiations are completed, the calendar will receive full approval and I will send out a notice when that happens. It's a great day to be a RAM!!

Earlier this week in Nutrition and Wellness we made Vegetable Quesadillas. They did a great and the room smelled so good.





FCCLA also helped with electing officers today. We also received several awards.




Congratulations to this group FCCLA a STAR event participants. They did a great job. Look forward to seeing what you can do at state.




Congratulations to the everyone who participated in STAR events last week. Here are few of the events and what they received.





Monday February 14 was not only Valentines but Make Members Count. The chapter officers passed out Crushes out. They also wore there FCCLA merch. They look awesome in there FCCLA shirts. Since the day was about members they all received a cinnamon rolls from Ms. Luhman. I also had two young ladies participate Taylor and Anna. There were a few teachers as well.




Tomorrow is wear your future career. We are hoping for more participants. Show us what you want to be in the future.


Hey everyone get excited about a service project for tomorrow. Wear your clothes and take pride in your school by cleaning classroom windows, commons, and front hallway.


Make It Count with FCCLA. February 14-18 is FCCLA week.
Monday is wear your FCCLA merch(t-shirt etc.) Today about showing that we care about our members. See Ms.Luhman before school or during seminar for your treat be sure to have something FCCLA on.
Tuesday: wear your work clothes
Wednesday: wear your future(career)
Thursday: everything/anything but your back. Celebrate your FACS teacher day as well as all educators.
Friday: Rock the Red
The day before you will receive more explanation. Please ask if you have questions before then.


Make it Count with FCCLA
February 14-18, 2022 is FCCLA week.
On Monday FCCLA members should wear their FCCLA Merch, meaning where your FCCLA t-shirts or sweatshirts. If we didn’t have our members, we wouldn’t be who are successful and caring members. You do so much and as your adviser I am so proud of you. If you have your t-shirt wear it and come see me for a treat Monday before school or during seminar.
If you don’t have a tshirt find someone with a cricut and design yourself a shirt.
Tuesday: Wear your work clothes, each seminar is helping with service project and cleaning your seminars windows. Some seminars are going to clean other areas. I
Wednesday: wear your future (career)
Thursday: bring everything but your backpack. This day we are also celebrating your FACS

In apparel production 1 this week, we practice sewing. We are so close to starting to put projects together.


Throughout January and February, Chemistry studied the chemical behavior of different families of elements. In our quest to better understand how the number of valance electrons are responsible for an element's reactivity, students have been exploring how different alkali metals react with water. We learned several tools to verify the products in a reaction like using a pH indicator and testing the gases produced in the chemical reaction.




District D STAR Events were today at Frankfort. We had 7 events. They worked hard and now we wait for their results.





Here are the rest of the competitors. I also had some great judges and timer, Morgan Spangler, Ty Vogt, Tina Williams, and Jeanne Dowell, sorry no picture of them.




FCCLA officers are selling Crush soda again for Valentines. $1 per can. Your choice of strawberry, orange, and grape. Last day to purchase is Thursday February 10. We will deliver during lunch. This sold to 8-12.

FCCLA Star events have been postponed to next Wednesday February 9 at Frankfort leave time is 7:30 at the earliest.

February 2nd, 2022 NO SCHOOL TODAY. Hello Blue Valley Families!
We had wintery weather overnight that has not had a chance to be treated or cleared. Because it is unsafe to transport students or have them drive to school, I have decided to CANCEL SCHOOL for today February 2nd, 2022.. I apologize for the short notice. I know it makes it difficult for families when this happens. I will keep you updated on school closings as needed. Thank you for understanding.
