The 8th grade history class commemorated the Boston Tea Party on Monday, Dec. 16. This was the 251st anniversary of this act of rebellion.



BVMS Student Council had the opportunity to adopt a family for Christmas again this year. Members participated by shopping for presents for our family on Tuesday, Dec. 11. We , then, wrapped presents so they were ready to deliver. Thank you to all who purchased cookie dough as a portion of those proceeds help support this community activity. Student council members had a great time as they worked to make another person's Christmas a little bit brighter!




BVMS students celebrated the last full day of school before break with a Christmas in Hawaii theme. I think we are all ready for some rest and relaxation!

The Rams stage off a rough third quarter over a previously 4-0 Rural Vista team.
They were led by Braden's 22 points.
The dunk in the 4th quarter that switched momentum and helped propel them to 61-49 win in the 4th quarter.

Our Animal Science class is ending the semester with animal, identification, specifically branding. The class got to design and make their own brands. We even got to test them on cattle hide scraps.











The
Junior Varsity team of Norah Cassell, Kelbi Dettmer, Oula Pekanen, Jaidynn Whearty and Kaghen Dettmer received third place medals at the Clifton-Clyde Scholars' Bowl meet. Abilene placed first and Clifton-Clyde was second. BVHS was triumphant over Centralia, Frankfort, Onaga, Linn, Washington and Valley Heights! Great brain work Rams!!!

In FACS Exploration, Sixth Graders have mastered kitchen safety and learned the art of making delicious scrambled and fried eggs. 🍳✨





Trace makes a buzzer beater on a pass from Trevor to send the game to overtime.
Ultimately, they fall in double overtime to Mission Valley.
Hayes and Braden earn the all tournament team consisting of only five players. Rams will bounce back next Friday vs Rural Vista at home.





Last night of the Pre-Season Tournament. BV takes on Mission Valley tonight with Girls V and Boys JV starting around 7pm.


On the second night of the Pre-Season Tournament BV takes on Flint Hills Christian. Varsity only tonight. Girls start at 4pm. Middle school is also playing in Clifton and Clyde, starting at 5:45pm.
