Good morning parents,
The following email was sent to our current 3rd grade families on April 26th. It has come to our attention that some families may not have received this information, so we are sending it out to everyone. Thank you.
Dear Parents,
We are excited to inform you that the school board has approved the move of the 4th-grade class to the middle school for the 2024-2025 school year as part of an intermediate wing of the elementary school. This decision comes after thorough exploration and planning meetings involving teachers, two community/parent meetings, and a board work session.
The move is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the educational experience for our students. A benefit of this transition will be to provide new opportunities for 4th and 5th grade classroom collaboration.
We understand that change can be unsettling, but please be assured that we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for both students and parents. We will provide you with all the necessary information throughout this process.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation as we work together to provide the best possible education for our students.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Ms. Combest either via email (ccombest@usd384.org) or phone (785.468.3551) or you can contact Mr. Boley at the district office.
Sincerely,
Caitlin Combest

With Opening Session at Century II the air was electric as scholarships and awards were bestowed upon deserving individuals.
