Hi everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know we will hold the Blue Valley Archery Club Parent Meeting on Saturday the 9th @ 10:00 am in the Middle School Gym. Please come to the meeting and bring the interested archer to hear about the program.
Today was a great day in FCCLA. I had the privilege to take 7 BV FCCLA members to our District D FCCLA Fall Conference. Members attended several workshops and listened to Dustin Gaylon about how we can make changes it is up to us whether it is positive or negative. I so enjoyed these kids they were a lot of fun, looking forward to the next event.
Hi Everyone!!! We just wanted to share that the Riley County Health Department is holding a FLU & COVID vaccination clinic this Thursday, October 7th, from 4-6 pm at the Randolph VFW. Pfizer vaccine booster shots are also available. #BVSTRONG

This past week in Human Growth we did an activity on what happens to baby development in each trimester and they learned a lot happens in the first trimester.
In my 1st hour on Friday we made the dessert for the homecoming dance. It was lasagna s’mores.
Flu Shots will be provided by the Riley County Health Department at Blue Valley High School on Thursday, October 7th from 1:30 to 3:30 in the art room. The BVHS Rams return to Randolph on Friday, October 1st at 7:00 p.m. to face the Linn Bulldogs for Homecoming 2021. The Rams will take the field with special camouflage jerseys and decals to show their respect and appreciation for our past and present members of the military. There will be a ceremony and moment of silence at 6:45 to pay tribute to the United States Armed Forces. Please come out and help us pay tribute to the sacrifices made by so many so the Friday Night Lights can be turned on. The Homecoming 2021 ceremony will take place at halftime of the football game.
Hi RAMFAM! I need to correct an error on my previous message. The HS Homecoming Parade time for Friday starts at 2:00 pm. I miss spoke and announded the start time at 1:30. That is when the students line up. Sorry for the confusion.
Pott County Health Department will be at McCormick Elementary on October 12th from 11:30 to 12:30 to give flu shots. If you would like your child to receive a flu shot please complete attached consent form and return it to the school, along with a copy of your child's insurance card, by October 11, 2021.

~DENTAL SCREENING TIME~ Dental screenings will be on October 19th. Dental screening forms are being sent home with your child. If you do not want your child screened you will mark that on the front of the form AND complete the parent/lawful guardian information on the back of the form so we know who the form belongs to. If you would like your child to receive fluoride treatment please fill out the back of the form.

PICTURE DAY IS TOMORROW!!! Can you believe it. Tomorrow, Wednesday the 29th we will take individual and fall sport pictures. Please remember that it is spirit week as well so have the kiddos dress for pictures. Spirit day comes second. Go Rams!!!
This week in Food Science we completed a couple of different science experience.
Joey spent several class Friday embroidering BV on 12 towels for Athletics with the hopes that with helping with them staying with athletics and not disappearing.

Today 9/22 in Culinary Essential we made macaroni and cheese. It was a great way to see how they work together as well kept what we talked about the last few weeks on food safety. This also allowed them to figure out how things were set up in the kitchen.
